Serving the greater Las Vegas Nevada area, I do studio work in Henderson and in the Arts District, shoot on locations, shoot events like parties and weddings and my passion of course, cars.

Yes, I’m car crazy. I will drool over a supercharger like it was a hot chick in a bikini. I’m a guy, through and through. (Meh. To be fair, the supercharger might win the drool contest.)

What the heck is Cafe1956.com? Why that URL? Well let me tell you. Cafe 1956 is the cyber home for me, the Las Vegas photographer A M Johnson. I think life is a feast to be enjoyed and savored. Kind of like going to a fantastic local cafe that serves perfect food and drink, has friendly servers and where the music always leaves you breathless and dancing in your seat. The 1956 comes from my birth year. There you go, cafe1956.

Some quick bio information: Since my youth, I have always had a camera in my hand. I took my camera just about everywhere I went taking pictures of anything that interested me. I honed my skills over the years and shot with some amazing people. I bring this passion and experience to you so you get fantastic results.

I currently do mostly art photography as in boudoir, glamor, couples shots, engagement and wedding shoots, pregnancy and baby, plus a whole host of other things. *Well I’ll be!* I can now add wedding repair to my list of services. It turns out that a cheap wedding photographer really isn’t so cheap after all. Note to potential clients- a Canon Rebel is NOT a wedding camera.

Creating photographic art occupies me and drives me. It might be capturing a look or a shadow, making a flower come to life, I just want you to enjoy. I like the idea that my creations can elicit an emotional response in a viewer.
