Rockstar Games Gives Advice to Players about the Heartbleed Threats in GTA 5 Online
Rockstar Games, the developer of GTA 5 and GTA Online, had issued a response to the Heartbleed threats. On the 19th April, Cinema Blend reported that Rockstar Games discovered a number of pages in the Rockstar Games Social Club are not secured against the hackers. Rockstar Games confirmed that the security threats haven’t affect the players’ accounts in any way. Rockstar Games has asked players to change the passwords they used to login into their GTA Online accounts. Those who are using the same passwords in different website should immediately change their passwords now. There is a large number of account sign ups at the Rockstar Games Social Club following the release of GTA 5. The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the GTA 5 have already sold more than 32.5 millions copies. Over 70% of players who sign up for their accounts login at the same time every day. The Heartbleed exploit caused players to completely lose the control over their characters in GTA 5 cheats Online. Apart from this hack, Rockstar Games is also troubled by many other kinds hacks. Rockstar Games is releasing new title updates to resolve these issues. Rockstar North planned to release the High Lift Update and heist missions this Spring. Rockstar Games Releases 1.09 Patch for PS3 and Xbox 360 Versions of of GTA 5
Rockstar Games has launched the 1.09 patch for the GTA 5 game. On the 11th January, Gamepur reported that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game have been launched. Players can download it from the Playstation Network and Xbox Live. The 1.09 patch only fix a few issues in the GTA 5 Online. For example, the 1.09 patch removed the illicit cash in the players’ accounts to prevent an imbalance in the economy. The patch also added some new motorbike models such as Drika Akumaika, Drika Double-T and the LCC Hexer in the game. The current patch did not reinstate the Rat Loader, which was previously removed by the 1.07 patch. This is the first title update that Rockstar Games issued in 2014. The previous patches have tackled with the mods in the GTA 5 Online. In the current patch, many new features have been added into the game. The team at Rockstar North is in the process of developing more DLC packs as well as new patches for the game. In the next update, they will be introducing a new heist mission mode in the GTA 5 Online. They are also developing new expansion packs for the single player version of GTA 5.
